In 2005 there was a story in my local newspaper about an incredible young man who had been chosen the poster child for a group called Reach for the Rainbow. This Toronto organization has pioneered the integration of children and youth with disabilities into the mainstream of society through summer camp programs throughout Ontario since 1983. I thought that it would be great if we could allow some of these children with special needs to experience rodeo.

I contacted Reach for the Rainbow and they agreed with me and the Reach for Rodeo program was born, Reach for Rodeo has continued to grow since 2005 to a point where the Rodeo cowboys and cowgirls of Ontario look forward to it as much as the children. In 2009 Greg O'Brien and I started talking about developing a website for the program and it has taken me this long to get everything to Greg.

Greg thank you for not giving up on this and your support of the program, I hope you all enjoy the website.
